Wireless Intruder alarm components. Wireless alarm parts utilise RF to communicate between the device and the receiver. The wireless receiver is usually the control panel or an expander. Most wireless alarm systms use 868MHz or 433MHz. There are 3 main typres of transmission, these are 1-way, 2-way and 2-way mesh. 1 way devices are usually lower security and are mostly used in lower security DIY type systems. 2 Way wireless is more secure as the transmission is acknowledged as recieved by the reciever.
