Purpose-built for remote deployments, the VS-4MP4GSOLAR offers a fully self-sufficient surveillance solution with an integrated 60W solar panel, high-capacity rechargeable lithium battery, onboard storage, and built-in 4G transmission.
The powerful 12.8V, 23Ah lithium battery ensures continuous operation—even overnight or during low-sunlight conditions typical in the UK. A PIR sensor supports energy-saving mode by keeping the camera in sleep mode and activating only when motion is detected, particularly beneficial in winter months.
Connectivity Options
Though designed for stand-alone use, the camera supports remote access and integration with NVRs through its 4G transmitter. A micro SIM slot enables compatibility with existing data-only SIM plans. For those without one, we offer competitive 500GB/month SIM packages via the Three Mobile network.

Alternatively, the camera can connect to NVRs or IP transmission systems via its RJ45 socket and standard CAT5/6 cabling.
Storage & Recording
Local recording is supported via the built-in 64GB eMMC storage, expandable with a Micro SD card for additional capacity ideal for stand-alone deployments with no external recording infrastructure.
Active Deterrent Features
Despite its remote location suitability, the camera still acts as a visual and audible deterrent. Built-in high-intensity red/blue flashing lights and an audible alarm activate on motion detection. A two-way audio system enables live voice interaction to assist visitors or deter intruders.
Durability
Engineered for harsh environments, the camera’s robust bracket secures both the solar panel and unit to the mounting pole. With an IP67 rating and durability to withstand up to category 12 typhoons, it’s built to survive the full force of a British winter.
Low-Light Performance & AI Detection
The VS-4MP4GSOLAR series integrates AI-enhanced ISP for clear, full-colour imaging in low-light conditions. A white-light illuminator with a 20m range ensures visibility even in complete darkness.
Advanced AI capabilities include line-crossing detection, region intrusion, human and vehicle recognition, and object detection (abandoned or missing). Intelligent filtering reduces false alarms caused by environmental motion—such as swaying trees, shifting shadows, and small animals.
