Product Overview

The EXP-2R-MULTI is a flexible, multi-functional device with three unique and innovative modes (hybrid expander, standalone receiver, paired transceiver) which can solve challenges and introduce solutions that optimize a wide range of installations. It features the innovative, cybersecure and bidirectional Scantronic Secure Radio (SSR). Modes: Hybrid expander (for SSR systems): The EXP-2R-MULTI communicates with a control unit or EXP-2R radio expander via a radio link. Standalone receiver: The EXP-2R-MULTI can learn up to 10 radio detectors and/or hold-up devices, which, when activated, operate relay outputs at the EXP-2R-MULTI and operate the internal sounder (if enabled). Paired Transceiver: Two EXP-2R-MULTI devices are paired with each other. Wired zone inputs at one device operate outputs at the other, and vice versa.
