Elmdene Power Over Ethernet (PoE) standby device

New to Elmdene's power supply range are Power Over Ethernet (PoE) standby devices. These units are capable of providing back-up power that can be used in security, access control and information technology applications.

PoE MiniPod™

Compliant PoE PSU powered by a single PoE+ signal from the PowerPod™.  From this single PoE input, it charges a 12V 7Ah battery, whilst also providing a PoE+ output, of up to 14W, to the powered device. Housed within an IP66 enclosure it is provided with a lockable hinged lid and also two IP67 RJ45 cable glands for simple plug-in connections.

Features:

• Provides battery backed PoE (802.3af) or PoE+ (802.3at) up to 14W max
• Simple PoE in and PoE out connections (IP67 RJ45 glands provided)
• Accommodates & charges a 12V 7Ah battery providing approximately 4-hours backup
• Powered by PoE+ from the PowerPod™ (no requirement for a mains fuse spur)
• IP66 Enclosure for external use
