Vanderbilt Long Range Reader
Ranger from Farpointe Data sets the electronic security benchmark for high frequency, long-range identification Receivers and Transmitters. Based upon proven contactless digital ultra high frequency (UHF) technology, the Ranger Receivers interface with a wide range of electronic access control systems by complying with either the legacy Wiegand communication protocol or the latest bi-directional Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP). They offer value-add features such as MAXSecure™ and up to 200 feet of read range (WRR-44). Additionally, Ranger Transmitters are active devices, powered by the most reliable and common battery, and equipped with a potted proximity or contactless smartcard module. The modules can be ordered to support several proximity reader technologies and allow the Transmitter to be used as a close-range credential.
