The RLS-2020S is an IP/PoE compact outdoor and high resolution indoor laser sensor that provides a customisable virtual wall or pane with a detection area up to 20m x 20m. Whatever the lighting conditions the Redscan RLS-2020S will detect objects and people going through the virtual shield and trigger PTZ camera presets to pinpoint intrusion and track across zones. For indoor applications, the laser sensor can be set up to detect small objects down to 2cm target or thrown objects. 

The REDSCAN RLS-2020S has been designed to integrate with security or safety systems. It creates a customisable detection area that cannot be easily provided by other sensors or video based detection systems such as virtual walls or panes both inddor and outdoor. It makes it an ideal sensor to protect smaller perimeters, approach, facades, flat roofs, slylight, high security areas or assets.
