The touchless exit buttons provide means to activate a request-to-exit with access control solutions without having to touch anything. This solution is achieved by using Infrared technology. Just move a hand near the front of the sensor to activate the contact. Activation is clearly indicated by an LED showing Green when active or Blue when powered but not active.
Please note that direct sunlight or reflections may affect the sensitivity of the infrared sensor.
