The Viper HDAL hybrid DVRs offer a simple upgrade path from standard definition analogue recording to the higher definition resolutions offered by TVI and AHD video formats. The HDAL DVRs can replace existing standard resolution DVRs and they will record the CVBS formats of current cameras. By using the existing coax cabling and changing the camera to a TVI or AHD format the end user benefits from Full HD 1080P images or higher (up to 3MP resolution). As well as recording HDA cameras the DVRs are true hybrids and can use IP cameras for up to 25% of their input channels. The Viper HDAL range comes in 2U high rack mountable chassis which includes Loop through, DVD writer and compatibility with Vista VKBD4 joystick keyboard. Other advanced features include: CVBS spot monitor output (does not support IP cameras), alarm inputs, audio recording and up the coax TVI camera control functions. Being part of the Viper range they all operate on the same intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI), VIPER_Central software client and VIPER_Remote apps. By including the Virtual Matrix Controller (VMC) and using its “WARP” function, multiple HDA DVRs and Viper NVRs can be controlled from this single unit.
