Hi,

The CPX panel will take a 12V 7amp battery (Enersys or Yuasa) and you are best to go with 6 core cable for your dual techs, also the CPX comes with all the manuals you need, so you will be ready to go when you receive your product.

Posted by Secware on 10 April 2013 - 07:59 AM

Just bought a Veritas panel from your good selves and am ready to fit. Aftr reading the enclosed paperwork I want to know if I need to change the dip switches (it will be the only one apart from the main panel) and do I need to configure it for 'Network devices'? If so what do I have to do?

#1750 FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

Posted by Secware_Tech6 on 06 February 2010 - 05:13 PM

I need to return an item, how do I do this?

Returning items to security warehouse is simple. All you need is an RMA number from technical support. Login to our ticket system and request an RMA. Please include the reason for the return on the RMA ticket.

How long will it take for my return to be processed?

We aim to process returns with 4 working days. Your support ticket and order will be updated throughout this process. However if items are returned without an RMA number then this takes us considerable time to rectify.

Why does my first order have to be delivered to my Credit/Debit card / PayPal billing/confirmed address?

By delivering your first order to your billing/confirmed address it enables us to complete the final stages of our security checks and also helps us offer you the service of delivering any subsequent orders to the address of your choice (within the UK).

My order is due for delivery today what time will it be delivered?

Your order will be delivered between the hours of 9am and 5.30pm, unless a delivery time was selected at the time of checkout. You can track the status of your order or delivery at any time by logging into your account.

What happens to my order if I am not in when the courier attempts to deliver it?

If you are not in when our courier attempts delivery they will leave a calling card which will provide you with a direct contact number for your local depot. You then simply call them to arrange an alternative delivery date or to collect the parcel directly from your local depot, which they will be more than happy to help you with.

Why can't I log into my account?

If you are having problems logging into your account first check that the email address and password you are using. You may also find it useful to refer to the information included in the "Welcome to SecurityWarehouse" email you received when you registered with Security Warehouse. If you have forgotten your password you can reset it by following the forgotton password link. This will email you a new password.

Why can I not amend my order after I it has been marked 'Payment Processed' or 'Pending' (paypal only)

We are unable to make any amendments to the order (other than cancellations) due to our internal security policy. In addition to our policy Pay Pal and your credit card company provide us only with enough money to fulfill your initial order therefore no further payment can be taken for additional items or shipping costs.

#6161 Wire Diagram A221 Flash Program Cable

Posted by adholland on 22 January 2014 - 08:06 PM

I'am in search for a wire diagram of the A221 flash program cable to program Dutch firmware into my Galaxy G2 panel,

I have

  • the dutch software: F118-02-150-CRC-6E46.mot
  • Honeywell software:  Flash programmer 3.00
  • G2 RS232 Lead  Part no: A228

When I start-up I select the .mot file and COM1, but after a short time I get the error message:  Initialization Process Failed. Retry?

Now it looks that I need a cable A221 to program the flash memory,

Is there somebody who now how I can convert my A228 cable into a A221 cable.  Inside the electronics box in between the A228 cable there are a lot of empty places.

If I have a diagram of both cables I think that I can work this out.

Look forward to reply.

Hello again,

All the external sounders come with battery back but you will need to run a 6 core cable for it, and as you said you will need to order a cover for the live back plate

Thanks
Elaine  :)

Thanks Elaine,

I do have a old external sounder but i am thinking of replacing it anyway with a novagard 6 siren, does this siren comes with inbuilt battery backup? I am assuming you have to buy a cover with it.

my old sounder is cable connected with a 4 core cable, will I need to run a 6 core cable or will the existing 4 core cable do the job?

thanks

Hi,

Again the choice is yours all speakers and sounders tend to be universal with most panels, CQR, Pyronix or Secware all work as well as one another, it just depends on which one you choose.

#1020 STALLED ORDERS

Posted by Secware_Tech6 on 30 July 2009 - 07:58 PM

I am creating this sticky due to some of the responses made on the support forum.
When using paypal for payment method we can only accept paypal accounts that are verified and confirmed (UK orders)
This is the same as checking the address on a credit card, but these 2 systems (ie verfied and confirmed) are the only way that paypal allow us to check.
We cannot stop the system automatically processing unverfied paypal accounts, and if using paypal for a first order, and having an unverfied paypal account, your order will be stalled. You can then either verify your account with paypal, they will inform us once this is complete, or we can cancel and refund the order.
In various places throughout the order process this will be displayed, but we do have some customers who continue the order with an unverified account.
Unverified accounts are the accounts used for fraudulent orders as the cardholder cannot be verified, this is why we stall any order so we can confirm the account holder was actually the person creating the order. For example if anyone had someones credit card details they could process and order using it. This would obviously be an unverfied account as the card holder would not be aware of the transaction. As we are a security company we take fraud very seriously and will not process such an order until the card holder is contacted. While some companies do not use these checks, we do for our own and our customers protection.
If you are unsure if your paypal account is unverfied then please check with paypal before ordering, or use an alternative payment method.

We are sorry for any inconvience this causes, but we will always protect our customers accounts as much as possible from fraud.
